While browsing YouTube one day I stumble upon a video by Pan Pizza of RebelTaxi fame, cut content from the second SpongeBob movie. In it Pan went over the various scrap ideas that didn't quite make it over to the sequel, such as animation sequences, plot details, and most fascinating concept art. One particular art that peak my interest was a design of Sandy Cheeks depicted as a Super hero, most noticeably Psylocke from Marvel X-men, and from that moment on I just had to draw my own interpretation of Psylocke Sandy. It’s nowhere as good as that concept art, but I try my best. I wonder why they scrap this design, seeing as how SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward had really cool Superheroes form in that movie. Maybe the director just thought it was too risqué to render since Psylocke outfit leave little to the imagination. Oh well, Major props to RebelTaxi Pan Pizza for bringing this scrap concept art to line light and I suggest you all watch his videos, as they are quite amusing and informative. Feel free to comment.
